Next time you’re visiting Bellevue, Washington, head to the top of the hill and check out one of CMD’s latest projects inside the headquarters of Expedia, the global leader in online travel.
The Expedia Find Yours wall is an 11-foot-wide mosaic of favorite travel photos from Expedia customers and employees. You can tweet or message your favorite photo to the wall and see it light up as part of a mosaic that builds into a picture of an iconic travel moment.
Also displayed on the wall are interesting and unique data points about world travel. The mosaic transitions to a different scene every few minutes, dynamically adding new photos and data.
The installation is part of the Find Yours campaign that includes TV spots, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest engagement, and blogger contests.
Over the coming months, we’ll be adding additional interactive functionality and making changes to the type of content displayed, so stay tuned for updates.
